Hello EMS families! I am honored and excited to be the 7th grade Assistant Principal. This is my 15th year in education and my 6th year at Englewood Middle School. I began my career teaching English Language Arts and STEAM, and spent four years serving EMS as an Instructional Coach and Literacy Interventionist. My entire educational career has been dedicated to middle school and I truly believe the best is in the middle!
In addition to working for Englewood Schools, I am proud to be an Englewood resident. I am also a parent to two wonderful boys who attend Clayton Elementary and it is an honor to raise my family in this incredible community. Englewood is a special place and I look forward to partnering with you and your family this year! Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns.

The 2025–2026 school year marks my second year as Assistant Principal at EMS and my 19th year in education. Eighteen of those years have been dedicated to middle school, where I have taught math, served as an instructional coach, and am now an AP.
I've called Colorado home for the past 21 years. My family, with our labradoodle, loves spending time outdoors and enjoying all that this beautiful state has to offer. Camping and hiking are among our favorites. My family is large and together with my husband, we have 7 kids and 9 grandkids.
It's truly an honor to be part of such a welcoming and supportive community. I'm incredibly proud of our students and staff for their dedication, resilience, and commitment to growth. Every day, I see them take risks, work hard, and challenge themselves—and it inspires me to do the same.
